For $13.99 maybe it's expensive for the fact that you are diy your own manicure, but I appreciate the fact that these are Hema free etc and should in theory be more gentle on your nails than traditional gel polish. In the past, I used to do the nail manicures where you used the hair dryer to stick them on and they took a lot of patience but in the end usually looked really cute. These are similar except you are using a UV lamp to cure it. Maybe my UV lamp isn't quite as strong but I'm not sure. Definitely if your nails aren't the exact right size you may need to trim or have gaps on the side which I think contribute to making them look a bit fake. You definitely need skill to apply these or you'll end up with issues. My daughter tried and gave up because she didn't like how it looked. I had better luck but it certainly took time. The patterns and designs are really cute and definitely hard to achieve at home on yourself, so it makes them more fun. You can also cut them in half to get more use from them so that it's another bonus. Certainly cheaper than a real gel manicure!

The soft pink shade is very pretty in person and looks exactly like the kind of clean spring and summer color I was hoping for.The strips themselves look smooth and evenly finished with a nice glossy appearance.I also like that the set comes with everything laid out nicely, including prep pads, a file, a cuticle stick, and clear instructions, so it feels like a complete at-home manicure kit.There also seems to be a good range of sizes included, which should make it easier to find the right fit for each nail.

The strips are flexible and easy to shape to the nails, and once cured under a UV lamp they feel strong and durable. The extra long length is great because you can trim and file them exactly to your nail shape.They stayed shiny and chip resistant for over a week, even with regular daily activities. I also like that they feel lightweight and comfortable, not thick or bulky like some press on nails.Overall, a great option if you want salon style nails at home without the mess of liquid gel polish.

These semi-cured gel nail strips in the color rosy veil are super cute; it is the perfect light pink shade. The kit came with everything you need to get started (except scissors and lamp). I applied these nail strips to my press-on nails and they were very easy to apply. Find the size you need and apply it to the nail. They stretched with no issue to get the perfect fit for the coffin shape nails I had (the bottom of the nails were wider). After applying, trim, cure, file, and top coat/decorate. Nail gems and nail art stickers applied on top of the strips with ease and have been lasting without issue. Creating press-on nails with these strips was so easy and saved so much time, I was very happy with this kit. If you are using these on short natural nails you likely can split each strip into two to get more bang for your buck, just keep in mind one end is round and the other is more of a rounded square.

I've used Nailog semi-cured nails before and have been really impressed with them. This set is a nice pink colour, which can be worn as a daily set. The semi-cured nails generally cannot be used as extensions, but you can usually add a couple of mm to your base nail without any issues.I found that properly preparing the nails is key to them sticking, so don't overlook this; otherwise, they are likely to come off quite quickly. With proper preparation, I've had these on for 7+ days without any issues. Once on, they feel secure and cope well with things like showers.As these nails are extra long, it is quite possible to use one nail sticker across two physical nails. This will certainly extend the use of these, giving double the amount of applications.The nail colour is a nice pastel pink and would be great for everyday wear. However, I have also successfully been able to overpaint these using a gel polish and cure, which has come out very well. Once the nails have been applied, they look very smart. After curing, they can be filed using a nail file or an electric nail file.Removing the nails is also very straightforward, using the included wooden cuticle tool. You can also simply prise them off the nail and they leave virtually no residue. This is very useful if you are an occasional wearer and do not want to have to sort out the aftermath of gel nails or gel polish. It also saves the hassle of having to deal with press-on nails where the glue is difficult to remove.Overall, I'm very impressed with these nails; they are straightforward to use compared with many other options and give excellent results.NAILOG is also competitively priced compared with other products on the market, and I tend to find the adhesion of these is better than some of the other products as well.
